Main beneficiary
The Direct Transact Foundation
The Direct Transact Foundation runs a variety of projects, one of which is the Ezenzeleni Water Tank project for which we are raising funds. Apart from being the beneficiary of our fundraising drive, the Foundation is being extremely helpful in terms of marketing and advertising assistance, as well as general support. A big thanks to Hennie, Anton, Beulinda, Paul, Christo, Mark, Skye, Annerie and the entire DT team who are willing to give their time and expertise!

For Expedition H2O, where we contemplate the leadership transformation needed to address our water crisis in Africa, the Tavistock Institute is an important thinking and networking partner.

Direct Transact
Direct Transact is one of Jean's clients. They are the pioneers in Fintech and banking services in South Africa. The fact that they were generous and flexible with regards to Jean's contract, made it possible to imagine a three-month trip like this. DT is also making their PR and Marketing service provider available to the Foundation to assist with promoting our Expedition. To Hennie and Anthony, leaders in enabling banking: Thank you for also making this dream possible!

Trax Moto Silver Lakes, Pretoria
There are few things as important to a motorcyclist than his or her trusted dealership around the corner. The guys at Trax Moto were the first to pledge their support. They gave us generous discounts on the bikes and parts needed for our trip and organised tank-bags from Husqvarna. They're also giving us training on working on the bikes before we leave and we'll have them on speed dial when we're somewhere up in Africa and in need of advice, parts to be shipped to us, etc. To Riaan, Jeff and team: Thanks for your support!

JoJo
JoJo has become synonymous with ‘rainwater tanks’ in South Africa. But their vision is even bigger, as is exemplified by their Disruptor Filter water bottles - ensuring fresh water wherever we go. JoJo is sponsoring us with a set of bottles and spare filters to make sure that fresh drinking water will not be a problem anywhere on our journey.

AquAffection is one of the local heroes when it comes to leading water transformation in South Africa. They help buildings large and small to reduce their water usage dramatically. How? By working on the both the human and the technical dimensions. #Surplus Water 2025 does awareness and training internationally towards freshwater conservation. They both support our cause by actively sharing our Expedition details with their networks in order to promote our fundraising efforts. Gerrie and Aldert, another two Sonop alumni, thanks to you and your team for your advice and support!
