Ezenzeleni means: Here, we do it ourselves.
 The Ezenzeleni Village outside Warden, like many rural villages in South Africa, had no reliable supply of water. The Direct Transact Foundation identified this as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Together with the community, who had to take their own initiative in the absence of municipal support, the Foundation appointed a Project Manager, with a local team, to drive and execute their dream of providing water to the community. Today, three years later, 3000 people have sustainable access to water. The project is now being rolled out to neighbouring villages and municipal areas.
